The Executive Committee hereby gives notice of the 2016 Annual General Meeting of
the Brentwood Karoonda Sporting Association Incorporated
Date: Monday 31st July 2017
Location: Main Pavilion, Karoonda Park, Booragoon
Time: 7pm
The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for all members to gain information and
ask questions of the Executive Committee regarding the financial health and the future
direction of the Association.
All Committee positions are up for re-election and I would encourage any members
interested in increasing their off field contribution to the BKSA to contact me to discuss
role responsibilities. Nominations for the Executive Committee positions of President,
Treasurer and Secretary should be submitted in writing via email to
atkinsonsrc@gmail.com a minimum of 7 days prior to the meeting. A further 4 club
delegates (1 from each member club) can be nominated on the night.
Members will have the opportunity to raise general business items. Any items to be
raised must be submitted in writing via email to atkinsonsrc@gmail.com a minimum of 7
days prior to the meeting. No new items will be accepted on the night to ensure the
meeting is run in a timely manner.
We require a quorum of members to begin the meeting so please do your best to attend.
Please note that the BKSA received special dispensation from the Department of
Commerce to delay the 2016 AGM to allow for focus on works being completed at
Karoonda Park. This meeting will therefore deal with information relevant to the
Association’s 2015/16 Financial year which concluded on October 31, 2016. An AGM
for the 2016/17 year will be held in November 2017.
