2017 – preparing for the season

Happy New Year!

Updates on the Renovations, 2017 Registrations, the 2017 Open Day and 2017 Coaches applications.

Welcome

Welcome to the 2017 football season at Booragoon Junior Football Club.

We hope you have had an enjoyable and relaxing summer break and you are ready for the season ahead. The Club would like to welcome past, present and new players to join us for the 2017 season. Please invite friends and encourage any past players to come down and enjoy playing football for our club this season. We are excited about the season ahead and the quality football experience that you will receive playing for the Bulldogs.

The Club Committee has been busy in the off-season to make sure we provide you with a great club to be involved in, and importantly we continue to enhance your football development and your enjoyment. As a club we are well planned for the season ahead: our coaching line-ups are being filled, and we have plenty of fantastic parents ready to help out and assist in our football program. The club continues to develop and deliver quality coaching programs to foster the enjoyment and development of each child’s football ability. We have some exciting initiatives planned and we look forward to delivering these throughout the season.

Girls football: Booragoon Junior Football Club is very keen to welcome new players this year. The girls will be playing their games on Sunday mornings this season.

2017 Teams: Booragoon Junior Football Club is planning to enter teams to play in the East Fremantle District Junior Competition (Years 3-7) and the Southern Conference Youth Competition (Years 8-12).

Volunteering: The club operates with the support of Volunteers. As a member of the Booragoon Junior Football Club it is expected that every parent will contribute throughout the season. Each team requires assistance. Parental help is the only way teams function. Inform your Coach or Team Manager how you are prepared to support your child’s team; Assistant Coach, Team Manager, Goal Umpires, Runner, Medical/First Aid, Committee member.
If you would like any more info please send us a message and we will put you in contact with the most appropriate Co-ordinator.

Karoonda Park Renovation Update
If you haven’t been by Karoonda of late and seen the progress of the renovations I can report that the building is at “lock-up” stage and the concrete pad has been poured for the expansive veranda out in front of the change rooms.
Power cables have been run for the new Lights; without any further delays we hope to have the light poles and lights up and running with the next 4 weeks, well and truly in time for the start of the football season.
