Concussion Management

There have been many reports on concussion in sport lately, and we have had a few potential concussion incidents so far this season.  Concussion is taken seriously at all levels of football – we’ve summarised the approach on our web site, based on AFL and WA Football guidelines.
Basically, if your player has symptoms of concussion, they will be removed from training or playing immediately and referred to a medical practitioner.  A concussed player cannot play the following week, and must have a signed medical clearance before training or playing again.
